About Sheila
Sheila is an Inspirational/Motivational Speaker and Singer. God has blessed her throughout life. Sheila was raised as a Preacher’s daughter and has been singing since she could talk and started playing the piano at age 5. She traveled for many years with her family as they sang gospel music. Her prayer has always been to use the talents the Lord has given her to spread His word to others to give them Hope.
She is the survivor of Domestic Violence both physical and emotional. She lost a child to a multicystic kidney disease at 26 weeks of pregnancy, watched and cared for her mother during her battle and eventual death with cancer and nursed a spouse through cancer to only leave her. Sheila knows what its like to have it all only to lose it all.
Sheila also suffers from a debilitating illness but is always positive and encouraging to others around. Sheila has an infectious smile that others will tell you is always there. She is constantly bubbly even on days when you know she feels bad.
Sheila will tell you she believes we should thank God IN all things not only FOR all things. No matter what life throws at us, God is always there. He always cares, and He always hears our prayers. He is a comfort in the storms of life as well as a companion through the good times. He is our rock and our fortress. How we live our lives during difficult times is how we will impact eternity.
Sheila and her husband together have 5 children. They are the loves of their lives. All are married and to hear Sheila tell she has 10 children. The best part is they have 5 grandchildren. Her husband has been the best healing Sheila could have ever had. God brought a miracle into her life when He brought Charlie. If you are ever fortunate enough to hear the "story of how they met" you will definitely get a good laugh! Charlie calls Sheila his little "Cheerleader" and when you meet her you will definitely understand.
Everything in life is a coming home! Sheila hopes your "coming home" is eventually a "home coming" to Jesus. Maybe you will say not me, I'm not this, or that, but she will look at you and say, oh my friend, but "My GOD is!
